MBA WINTER YOUTH LEAGUE RULES 2011

K-1 League
  • We will keep score and officials and coaches will be helping the players learn the game. 
  • Coaches are allowed on the floor to help coach your players.  We will not stop the game to instruct
  • Every 4 minutes we will stop the clock no matter what to Sub.  Coaches will match players up
  • Will play 16 minute running clock half.  Will stop the clock at the 16, 12, 8 and 4 minute mark for subs
  • No free throws will be shot at all
  • Rims will be at 8.5 feet and use a 28.5 women’s basketball
2nd-3rd and 4th , 5th League and 6th GIRLS
  • Only rule is that there is NO zone defenses allowed.  NO zone traps NO zone half court defense
  • 6 fouls to disqualify a player
  • Game will be played with 12 minute halves and a stopped clock
  • Time outs you will get two 30 second timeouts per game
6th, 7th and 8th BOYS League
  • 6 fouls to disqualify a player
  • Games will be played with 14 minute halves and a stopped clock
  • Two 30 second timeouts per game allowed
