Statements from high school coach:
I believe Mack Mercer is one of the state's best players in the Class of 2014.  As he continues to develop his game both physically and mentally, he will have opportunities to become an outstanding player.  He already possesses very good skill for a player his size at his age.  Mack does so many good things for our team -- he is a scorer from inside and outside, he is a very good passer, he is our leading rebounder, and he is one of our leaders on and off the court.  He continues to work at improving his game to be the best player he can be every day, but the thing I really like about him is he is a great teammate and person on and off the court.  He does a tremendous job of representing our school and program in a positive way which is attributed to his parents and the type of person he wants to become.
