Personal training's at MBA is something that players from beginner to advanced can participate in.  Personal training is the most individualized program that MBA offers.  A typical training session will have anywhere from 2-5 players per trainer.  The training group is determined by skill development and or ability.  The MBA trainer will have the responsibility of forming his own groups, adding or subtracting players to find the perfect training session for his clients.

Our professional training staff will fine tune your fundamental package so that their are no flaws in your game.   Offensive concepts of basketball are the main focus of the workouts.  It is important that basketball players understand how to shoot the basketball properly from the ground up, meaning feet, hips and hands.  The MBA trainers will make sure that your jump shot mechanics are perfect every time that you shoot the ball.  As a player advances through the learning stages more advanced shooting drills will be incorporated into their workouts.  Players must be able to spot shoot, shoot off the dribble, off the triple threat and off the screens.

Ballhandling is the other important offensive concept that our trainers will work hard to implement into a player's package.  Ballhandlers must have the basketball on a string, meaning a player can do anything with the ball that they want to.  The MBA trainers will develop that into each player with stationary one and two ball ballhandling drills to build hand strength and quickness.  As a player advances through the learning stages more advanced ballhandling drills will be incorporated into their workouts.  Players must learn to change directions on the run while maintaining possession of the basketball.  Players must be able to have multiple ballhandling moves that enable them to freeze defenders and either shoot it, pass it or drive it.

The last phase is to incorporate live play into the training's so that players can implement the drills into game situation play.  This can be done by 1 on 1 or 2 on 2 play.

Personal Training Fee is $40 per player for 1 hour. Training times are from 3:30 to 6:30 Monday thru Thursday and Saturday/Sunday upon request.

I will partner you up with players of your ability that will help make the workout challenging and productive.

QUOTES
Rod Creech’s MBA programs are as good as any youth programs as I have seen in the Midwest. We encourage our High School basketball players to be as involved in any AAU or instructional programs that MBA offers. The thing that I think sets MBA apart from other programs is the energy and discipline that Rod and his staff demand in their programs. We always see improvement in our players after an extended period of time at MBA.

If I didn’t believe in MBA I certainly wouldn’t let my own elementary aged children grow up in the MBA instructional atmosphere. Our family is extremely grateful to the work that Rod, Andrew, Coach Johnson, and the rest of the staff at MBA do for our kids personally.

We were very impressed by Rod and his team of coaches. They were organized, hard-working and kept the kids focused in their practices and games. We saw our son's abilities as a player grow three-fold through the course of the season. I especially appreciated Rod's high energy and desire to win, but also his commitment to doing your best even if losing. A great program - worth every dollar we invested in our son!

Rod’s training has had a huge impact on my basketball career. Not only did his instruction and motivation provide me an opportunity to play division I basketball, but it also has been a blueprint for me professionally. I now use every one of his drills to successfully instruct kids in the Indianapolis area. If you are looking to take your game to the next level then training at MBA is a MUST.

Our son has been involved in the MBA basketball program for the last 3 years. He started by playing on the 6th grade travel team, then we decided to begin training sessions with Rod Creech, and then add speed and agility training with Danita Creech. In the summer, he participated in the various day camps that MBA offered.

Our son has been on other travel teams and attended many camps all over the country. We have said and will continue to say that NO ONE teaches the game of basketball like Rod Creech. NO ONE cares about the development of young players like Rod Creech. NO ONE has broken the game down into such understandable terms and taught our son not only the HOW's but the WHY's like Rod.  That is why we train at MBA!!
