The Pre-Season Player Development League at MBA will provide players the opportunity to play 5 on 5 up tempo basketball. MBA staff will be emphasizing to each player the importance of understanding each possession, which will in turn improve basketball IQ's. During live play MBA staff will emphasize spacing, cutting, screening, defending, rebounding and communicating. All players will be expected to play both ends of the floor to the best of their ability. This year the staff is implementing a 20 minute drills for skills series that will feature a different fundamental concept each week. Here at MBA we feel that if the pro players getting paid to play this game are working on fundamental skill training on a daily basis then all levels below them should be doing the same thing.
BOYS
Games start Saturday September 10th thru October 8th
- Play twice, back to back each time you come
- Games start at 9:30 am and done by 11:30 am
GIRLS
Games start Saturday October 22nd thru November 19th
- Play twice, back to back each time you come
- Games start at 9:00 am and done by 10:15 am
Cost: $95 per player. Includes a game jersey and 10 games.
